The Hephzibah Board of Commissioners is composed of five persons who are elected or appointed as provided in the City Charter. Each member serves a four-year term. At the first meeting in each year, the commissioners elect a Chairman to preside at meetings, execute documents, and otherwise coordinate the affairs of the City with the advice and consent of the majority of the Board.
